Lynne Ryall's Artwork

Lynne Ryall is a landscape painter who has recently started promoting her work. She is a retired Visual Art, Media and History teacher from T.L. Kennedy Secondary School in Peel.

Education:

B,A. Honours History Queen's University, 1985.

B.Ed. University of Toronto Intermediate; Senior Visual Arts and History, 1987.

-ongoing degree at OCAD-still working on it.

Artist Biography:

Lynne Ryall has been painting in her spare time ever since high school. Much of her work centers on the stylization and abstraction of Canadian landscape. She has travelled extensively in Canada with her family and friends; and takes every opportunity to sketch, paint on site and photograph. Lynne originally painted in acrylic but has switched over to water-based oils in the last two years. It is her hope to paint full time upon retirement. For now, she paints at every opportunity, She also does much work in the field of computer graphics and yearbook publication design.
